A growth retainer is an ongoing engagement where we operate as your external strategy partner for brand, content, and distribution.
Strategic alignment. Every retainer starts with three metrics — a leading indicator, a lagging indicator, and an efficiency metric. We agree on these in week one and review them every month.
Monthly deliverables. Defined at the start of the engagement based on what will move the metrics. Typically a mix of content production, distribution management, and strategic advisory.
Quarterly strategy sessions. Every three months, a half-day session to review the bigger picture: what's working, what isn't, and whether the strategy needs to change.
Slack availability. We're available by message for quick questions and decisions that shouldn't wait for a scheduled call.
Who it's for
Companies that have passed the brand-building phase and need ongoing strategic support to grow. Typically Series A or later, or bootstrapped companies with revenue and a clear growth objective.
This is not a project. It's a relationship. We take on a small number of growth retainers at any time.
How it ends
Growth retainers renew quarterly. If the metrics aren't moving in the right direction, we say so and we either fix it or we agree to stop. We don't hold clients to long commitments when the work isn't working.
